Dutch Design Week is the biggest design event in the Netherlands, with around 300 events taking place in 60 venues around Eindhoven - home of the famous Design Academy, which numbers Jurgen Bey, Hella Jongerius and Maarten Baas among its alumni - this year. More than 1,500 designers are expected to take part in the ninth edition of the event, covering disciplines as diverse as industrial, fashion, interior and food design.
