Feeling the Onion Pinch in Paris

If you made it to the inaugural New York Architecture and Design Film Festival last October you might have caught the screening of Onion Pinch Baroque Counter Poise. Directed by Italian designer Caterina Tiazzoldi the film features dancers interacting with a series of her moulded cork Onion Pinch structures, demonstrating 'how dancers’ bodies react to the installation’s flexibility and oscillation'.

Until 27 February there will be a chance to test out the structures for yourself at the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine's MINIMAOUSSE 4, where they will be on show together with another of Tiazzoldi's designs, Napping Pods.
