Every photographer starting out should take note of the advice from Albert Watson, one of the most successful fashion and commercial photographers working today. Warning against the complacencies that photoshop allows, Watson likens the coordination of different elements in photography to that of driving a car..

It's an art that Watson clearly has mastered, despite being blind in one eye. Over the past thirty five years Watson has produced photographs of many iconic figures including Kate Moss - whom he first photographed on a shoot in Marrakech on her 18th birthday.

A large retrospective of Albert Watson's work takes place at Fotografiska, Stockholm from 25 March - 12 June.
