There is perhaps no artist of the 20th century that is as famous and infamous as Andy Warhol.

Most of the portraits on display at the Olyvia Fine Art gallery in London date back to the 1970s, a decade that saw Warhol return to painting after an extended break in the late 1960s.

Of particularl significance is the portrait Mao, which Warhol customized with lipstick and eye shadow. Also featured are 13 of the 500 of Warhol’s Screen Tests. These black and white silent films are of various known and unknown visitors to the notorious Factory during the 1960s, and further show Warhol to be a master of portraiture.
