Studio Mumbai, In-between Architecture (2010)
Inspired by the dwellings found in the small spaces between buildings near the practice, In-between Architecture will be set up in the cluttered and crowded Cast Gallery,
which is dominated by tall structures such as the two halves of Trajan’s column.

Retreats to seek out at one of London’s busiest museums this summer

Seven contemporary architects have been invited to build small structures at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum for a special exhibition centered around the theme of ‘retreat’.

Constructed at full scale, the buildings aim to move away from explaining architecture through drawings and models and instead give the visitor the chance to experience the architecture itself. Designs will be installed in and around the museum, from the main staircase to the John Madejski Garden during the summer of 2010.
